Doubtful about all this rain. Too much water. Too many mosquitoes. I seriously do not like this one bit. Spent the morning clearing out a wet basement. The whole world smells lately. Not just my basement but everywhere. Lets hope that things settle down and we get a drought soon.

HotDog Montage!

This is inside the gallery where I will be having my solo show. So much space for me to fill all by myself in such a short time… It will be an epic battle to the very bloody end. xox

Oh my goodness… Only on rare occasions do I get such a STRONG craving for something. Tonight it was chocolate cake! BUT I have NOT shopped for chocolate cake in a million years it seemed? However I decided to go out to the kitchen and peek around for something chocolate. The first thing I found was a BOX OF DARK CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!! What a tease! So I decided to see if I actually had bought icing. I went to the other cabinets and found a container of White icing…Damn! AND it was out of Date! I almost got in the car and drove to the Quicky Mart in town to get some ICING-but instead I gave it another try in the forbidden cabinets over the stove and moved the box of pancake mix aside. HOLY CHOCOLATE JESUS I found a container of DARK CHOCOLATE ICING! A matching pair! It almost was too much… I wanted to take the chocolate powder mix and eat it straight. Ahhhh Yum!So I made cake tonight. I licked the utensils, the bowl, my fingers, the bowl again… When it was finished baking and the icing went on. I sprinkled on some amazing SEA SALT!!! Yep-sea salt. Perfect with Dark Chocolate! So there you have it.Get this…I barely could eat it after making it. Barely-I did have a little! I gotta get it out of the house soon too. I’m thinking of sending it to work for the boys to finish off. I can’t afford to have an entire cake of LOVE here in the house. I might actually finish it. Alone. While sitting on the floor in the corner, wearing my pajamas… Not pretty. Anyway-I made Cake! xox
